Organizational Development

How does it work?

  • A Northward OD practitioner will meet with you and determine your organizational development needs

  • A white paper outlining proposed OD activities, which will serve as a discussion framework will be sent to you to ensure needs are met and goals are clear

  • More data collection will occur—this may be in the form of interviews or surveys or through more informal channels

  • The Northward OD practitioner will serve as a "neutral" observer and will begin to reveal the system to itself: What's going on in various groups? What are the "elephant in the room" issues? How is leadership perceived?

OD activities may include the following:

  • Strategic planning sessions
  • Internal and external communication strategies
  • Change management tools
  • Training recommendations
  • Individual and Team Coaching
  • Team building
